Ed Sauls is the Manager of Wilhelm Sauls Investments, LLC and President of The Sauls Company, a DBA of Development and Conservation Management, Inc. With over 40 years of development expertise, he has successfully completed more than one hundred projects, earning community support and financial success.
Throughout his career, Mr. Sauls has developed master-planned communities, mixed-use developments, residential subdivisions, multifamily housing, and commercial centers. Presently, he serves as the co-owner of Downtown Marketplace I & II, which includes a proposed 51,000 square foot retail, restaurant, and office building in historic Murrieta. Additionally, he is a partner in the development of The Boulders, a 468-acre planned community in Riverside County.
As the Consulting Development Manager for Meadow Highlands, LLC, Mr. Sauls oversees projects such as the 90-acre, 2.2 million square foot Sanderson Industrial Park and Sanderson Square in Hemet, The Collection, a mixed-use development in Murrieta, and Lakeview Village, a 90-acre planned community in Lake Elsinore.
His notable projects include the Gordon Ranch, a 2,200-home community and an 11-acre shopping center in Chino Hills, and the Woodmere Apartments, a mixed-use development in Ontario. He also managed the development and sale of Wilhelm Ranch, a multi-use project in Riverside County.
Mr. Sauls is the CEO and founder of The California Land Conservancy, a nonprofit entity established in 2004, dedicated to acquiring and preserving land for wildlife and open space.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, with a Major in Finance and emphasis in Real Estate. Additionally, he earned the professional designation in Light Construction and Development Management (LCDM) from the Home Builders Council of Southern California and the University of California, Irvine. He is a licensed real estate broker (DRE ID# 00458691) and was licensed as a General Building Contractor.
Mr. Sauls has received numerous awards and honors, including the 1990 Builder of the Year and 2000 Volunteer of the Year awards from the Building Industry Association of Southern California. In 1988, he was honored with the prestigious Case Bradford Award from the Home Builders Council of Southern California for his contributions to industry education.
